EVERY SOUL A STAR ATTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am reading Every Soul A Star by Wendy Mass. Before I read I had a prediction. I predicted that since in the book Ally,(one of the charecters)parents own a campground and in the book since tommorow is the last day of school,I predicted that Bree and Jack would be coming to the camp, so they could come together probarly. Ally, Bree,and Jack have been having a hard week because tommorow is the last day of school, Ally has been helping her family with the camp since they should be getting calls .Bree has made a mistake by fibing to her parents just to go to a modeling exhibit while they think she is at the libary with her sister Melanie.And jack still trying to find pics of his dad.

I just started reading Every Soul A Star by Wendy Mass.Before I read I had a prediction.I pedicted since the title is Every Soul A Star,that it had something to do with people that are probarly all different but are special in there own way. After reading the first three chapters I learned that this book is told from three extremly different perspectives,and somehow,some strange way they will probarly come together? ( atleast that's what I think from what I've read). Also I had a word that really confused me, the word was inherited. After reading around the word I learned that inherited meant to recieve through a parents genes.

The Skin Im In

I can not put this book down. My mom was calling me and I didn't even hear her.
Maleeka has a new teacher who has something wrong with her skin. Maleeka thinks that the teacher is picking on her, but the teacher undrstands what she is going through. She wants Maleeka to accept herself. But Maleeka does not want to hear it and wants the teacher to go back to where she came from.

I am reading The Skin Im In by Sharon Flake. Before I read I predicted that Maleeka was gonna have conflict because her skin. The reason why I predicted this is because of the title. If you don't accept your body and the features that make you unique nobody else will. After reading the first chapter, I know that my prediction was correct. Maleeka is very dark skinned and people pick on her all the time.

I was reading Violet Raines Almost Got Struck By Lightning by Danette Haworth. When I was reading my book i had a word that I didn't know the meaning of,the word was taradiddle .After some Thinking I found out thata that the word meant a fib.the reason why I think the meaning if the word is fib, is beacause I read around the word and found out the meaning.While finishing up my reading I had to use the visualization strategy to visualize Violet in my head and how pretty she was.What an awesome book it was!!!!

CASE SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am reading Farewell My Lunchbag by Bruce Hale. Before I read I had a few predictions that crossed my mind. I predit that Chet Geko will give up an find out the answer in a eyecatching off notice way, anything to find out the truth. I thought that because chet geko will do anything to find the dreadfull truth. While I was reading I had a few questions, the first one was why is he trying to make it seem like he has everything under control? The other question i had was how does he do it (if you dont know what i mean, i mean how does he manage to do school work and envistagating)? I also had a word that I couldn't "investagate" me knowing. The word was beckon, after looking it up in the dictionary it mean't to make a sign or a signal to someone.

I am reading Farewell My Lunchbag,by Bruce Hale. Before I read I had a few questions and predictions thaat really crossed my mind.I predict that Chet will expect it to be the person most likely to steal the food,But I am predicting that it won't be that amphibian that he thinks is the food theft,the reason I think taht is because the last chapter I read stated that whoever he was acusing was acting very suspicous, sorta acting like he was an innocent little fly.The question I had was who would want to steal FOOD?
While finishing up my reading I had to use the visualization strategy to visualize how a geko would look seeking to find out a case, and how intense it would be watching!! While reading I had a word that I had to think about it was pheripheal after searching my schema I found out that it is just a fancy word for when you turn sideways and can see something out the side of your eye.

My first home reading will be here on Friday.
